Chenai Holistic Home Care began as a heartfelt mission—one rooted in compassion, personal experience, and the desire to do better for those who need support.
Our journey started in 2013, not as a business, but as a charity organisation, reaching out to those in need with no expectations but a deep passion to help. What began as community-driven work quickly became a calling that would grow into something larger and more impactful.
Over a decade ago, the founder of Chenai Holistic Home Care entered the care sector as a frontline care worker. That first-hand experience exposed the many challenges and overlooked gaps within the care industry. She saw the pressure placed on workers, the inconsistencies in care delivery, and the lack of personalised attention that people truly deserved. These eye-opening moments sparked a determination to create something better—something more compassionate, more responsive, and more human.
As her career progressed into management roles, her vision became clearer. She developed a deep understanding of how to lead teams, advocate for clients, and build a system that truly prioritises the individual. Her journey later took her overseas, where she dedicated time to charity work abroad, further shaping her values and broadening her understanding of human need, dignity, and service.
During that time, a special place left an unforgettable mark on her heart—Chennai, India. The warmth, resilience, and spirit of the people she encountered there inspired her to carry that same energy into her mission back home. That inspiration lives on today in our name: Chenai Holistic Home Care

What Our Service Users Say
I started my care with 2 carers twice a day coming in to help me due to a brain injury, with the fantastic help from the carers at Chenai I was able to drop down to just 2 carers coming just once a day. Now I do not need the carers at all. Thank you for all your help in getting me back to being independent.
